Cristina Baez, currently the chef/owner of Bleu Bites, offers an array of private chef services, each featuring the latest in Haute cuisine to her Houston clientele. Bleu Bites offers personal chef services, cooking demonstrations and classes, custom tasting menus, private event catering, and in-home catering.

As a graduate of the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu School of Paris, France, Cristina injects her international experience, reflection of culture, passion for food and distinct flavor into each of her dishes.

In the past 12 years, Cristina has lived and traveled around the globe; Venezuela, Egypt, Bolivia, Paris and the United States. These international experiences have influenced her distinct choices of flavors and aromas, as well as her food presentation choices, often described as beautifully artistic.

Prior to relocating to Houston, Texas in 2008, Cristina served as a freelance consultant for Selma Duarte Catering Company in Aracaju, Brazil, where she was tasked with the role of infusing a variety of classic French dishes into their already expansive menus. She has also served as a teaching assistant for Chef John Folse’s Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University in Louisiana and as a chef’s assistant for the Le Cordon Bleu school in Paris.
